Selective Mutism
Selective Mutism is an anxiety disorder in which a person can speak comfortably with some people in some settings while facing an inability to speak in certain social settings. For children, SM is especially noted and challenging at school.

SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)
Developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center, SPACE is a parent-based treatment program for children and teens with anxiety disorders and OCD. More information about SPACE can be found here:
CBT for Anxiety
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a well-studied and frequently recommended form of psychotherapy to treat anxiety disorders. CBT focuses on helping clients recognize and change patterns of behavior and thoughts that lead to anxiety, develop improved coping strategies and approach rather than avoid feared situations.
